Support habitat restoration of popular day-use areas and trails! We will be planting native species and removing non-native vegetation. Target non-native species are Himalayan blackberry (Rubus armeniacus) and Ice plant (Carpobrotus edulis). Volunteers will wear gloves and use hand tools such as hori horis, pulaskis, hand clippers, and loppers to remove encroaching vegetation around plantings. We will employ 5-gallon buckets or other water-carrying equipment to transfer water to the planting areas.
